Unit4 Hobbies(Checkout)教学设计


Step1: Warm up

1. Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls. Today I’m your new English teacher. Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you too.

2. Watch and say

T: I’d like to show you a video about me, let’s watch and say together, OK?

S: OK! (播放开场视频,和学生互动)

T:Great. From the video, can you tell me what do I like doing?

S: You like running, singsing, and playing basketball.

T: Yes, these are my hobbies. Today we’ll still learn Unit 4 Hobbies.

 

Step2: Presentation

1.Review

T: Look at the picture, they are our friends. Please choose one to talk about his/her hobbies.

S: This is Yang Ling. She likes...(依次请学生回答,复习Story time)

2.Look and say

T: Well done. Today Yang ling, Mike, Liu Tao, Su yang and Su Hai are in the English club in our school. Would you like to join?

S: Yes!

T: So you have to finish the three tasks. Task1 you should learn to share your hobbies, Task2 you should learn to talk about others’ hobbies. Task 3 please write down your friend’s hobbies. OK?

S: OK.

T: Look, Tim is coming. He wants to join the club too. What does he like doing? Let’s listen.(播放Tim的录音)

T: Oh he likes drawing and he can draw very well now. So how about Helen, Wang Bing and Su Hai? Please choose one and discuss in pairs. You can use these sentences. I like.. I can ... and so on. (学生讨论)

T: OK, First who can be Helen?

S: Hello, I’m Helen. I like...(依次请学生回答Wand Bing 和Su Hai)

3. Listen and judge

T: Now we know their hobbies. Look, they have some new friends. They also want to join the English club. Can you guess what does he/she like doing? You can say maybe he/she likes ...(让学生猜每个人物喜欢做什么)

S: He likes swimming.

She likes dancing.

...

T: OK, Turn to Page 44, Let’s listen carefully and check the answer. (播放录音)

T: First one smile or cry?

S: Smile.

T: Yes. And what does Jenny like doing?

S: Jenny likes swimming. (依次核对答案)

Step4:Think and write

T: Look, this is my friend, he is my student. Let’s watch a video about him. (播放视频)

T: Yes, his name is Gary. He likes playing football and drawing. Let’s read the story about him together.

T: OK. You know my friend’s hobbies. Can you talk about your friend’s hobbies? Please discuss in four. (四人一小组讨论自己朋友的爱好)

T: OK. Who wants to have a try?

S: This is my friend...(请学生谈自己朋友的爱好)

T: Great! Now please take out this paper and write down your friend’s hobbies. If you can write 5 sentences correctly, you can get 5 stars. If you can write more than 5 sentences correctly and fluently. You can get 2 stars. If you can write more than 8 sentences correctly, fluently and beautifully. You can get 3 stars.  (请学生写下自己朋友的爱好)

T: Who can share your writing with us? You, please.(邀请学生上台读自己的作文)

T:OK. Who wants to be a teacher? (请一名学生当小老师)

T: (老师总结)OK. So when we are writing, what should we pay attention to?

S: ...

T: Yes. We should start with a capital letter. We should write a full stop after the sentence. And the most important is the third person singular.

T: Now boys and girls congratulations! You can join the English club.

T: We know Tim likes drawing and at first he can’t draw well. But now he can draw very well. Why?

S: ...

T: Yes. So different people have different hobbies. There is no difference between hobbies. We should stick to our hobbies.

T: There are many after school clubs and many hobbies. Let’s enjoy the pictures. So hobbies make our life colourful.

 

Step5:Homework:

1. Review this unit.

2.Ask about your family members' hobbies.
