T:What a lovely song! Where are the animals ?
1. Learn the new word “farm”
T: Great. Look at this picture(出示一张农场的图片). This is a farm.
So what is a farm? A or B? A.动物园 B.农场
T: Yes. Follow me, please. Father + mum→ farm Who can try?
2. Brain storm
T: When we talk about farm, what comes to your mind?
T: Those are animals. Are there any fruit or vegetables on the farm?
S: apples / pears/ oranges/ potatoes/ tomatoes...

T: Wow! There are many animals and fruit on a farm. Would you like to go to a farm?
T: Great! Liu Tao and Mike are on a farm. Let’s follow them. OK?
1.Listen and answer
T: Look!(出示pic1) Liu Tao and Mike are talking with an old man. Please listen to them and find out who the old man is.
T: Who is he? Which one do you choose?
A:He is Mike’s grandpa.

2.Imitate and act

4.Read and underline
T: Mike is so excited when he sees the animals and fruit. So he asks many questions. Please read picture2-3 and underline Mike’s questions.

T: Good job! Look at the questions and pictures. What’s the difference ?
T: Good try! When the animals are nearby, we ask “What are these?” When the animals are far away, we ask “What are those?” Is that clear?
Tip: these意思是“这些”,代指近处的事物;those意思是“那些”,代指远处的事物。
5. Listen and learn
T: Now Mike hears the sound of other animals. Let’s listen together. (出示农场图片,有小鸡(近处)和小鸭(远处),但图片模糊看不清)

6. Look and say
T: Mike finds the chickens and ducks. He asks grandpa some questions too. Please look at the pictures and the sentences. Try to complete their dialogues.
