  教材分析:本课时是译林版四年级下册《Seasons》单元首课,聚焦“Story time”,借诗歌展现四季,为后续学习打基础。知识要点了涵盖“spring、summer”等季节词,“warm、hot”等描述词,以及“In...,it is... We...”句型,构建基础表达框架。本科图文结合,文字简洁,便于学生理解记忆。

  学情分析:四年级有一定英语基础,掌握简单词汇和句型,能理解基本指令,具备初步语言能力。:对生活话题兴趣高,“四季”主题易引发热情,但注意力易分散。

  教学目标:1.能有感情流利地朗读课文,理解全文的含义、体会诗歌意境。

  2. 能听懂会说四季单词及活动类的词组fly kites、go boating、eat ice creams、go swimming、have picnics、go climbing、make snowmen、go skating。

  3.让学生掌握词汇和句型,培养听说读写能力,激发对英语和自然的热爱。

  教学重难点:能听懂会说四季单词及活动类的词组,小诗的朗读和创作。

  2 Learn the words about seasons.

  Ss: There are four seasons in a year.

  T: Yes, there are four seasons in a year. Do you know what are they? Look at my picture. Look at this tree. You can see some beautiful flowers on the tree, right? So

  Ss: Spring.

  T: Very good. Spring.

  Ss: Spring.

  T:Good. This season is spring. And look at this tree.

  Wow, you can see more green leaves on the tree. And this season is?

  Ss: Summer.

  T: Summer.

  Ss: Summer.

  T:Great. And look at this one. What color are the leaves?

  T: Okay, you can see gray, maybe yellow leaves, right? Okay, so this season is autumn.

  Ss: Autumn.

  T:Autumn.

  Ss: Autumn.

  T:Are there any leaves on the tree?

  Ss: No.

  T: Maybe, it’s…

  T:So we know there are four seasons in a year. They are...

  3. Let's think

  T: Good. Okay, boys and girls, in your eyes, what color are the seasons? What color is spring?

  Ss: Spring is green./pink./colourful.

  T:Why do you think so? Maybe because the trees are

  green, the flowers are colorful. Yes or no? And what color is summer?

  Ss: Summer is red.

  T:Okay. Why do you think so?

  Ss: Summer is hot.

  T: Yes. The sun is hot. So she thinks summer is...

  Ss:Red.

  T: What about autumn? What color is autumn?

  Ss: It is yellow.

  T: Why do you think so?

  T:Maybe the leaves, the trees are yellow. And what color is winter?
